We have provided some frequently asked questions to give you further knowledge about what kind of services we provide.
What is home care?
Home care is a service that provides you the opportunity to age or recover in the comfort of your own home. This gives you the opportunity to remain self-sufficient while getting the assistance you need from a trained caregiver.
Why should we choose home care?
One of the benefits you can get from home care is that it’s a more cost-effective way to age or recover. Rather than staying at a facility to get the care you need, you can opt to get in-home help where the caregiver’s attention is solely on you. This way, you can be assured that you are getting the optimal level of care that you need to regain or maintain a healthier condition.
What kind of services does Healing Through Caring Homecare LLC provide?
We provide non-medical services, such as personal care, homemaking, companionship, non-medical transportation, and recovery service.
How do you create a home care plan?
We create a home care plan based on your specific needs. First, we discuss your preference in terms of care and then we assess your condition to know how we should go about it. Our caregivers will then implement it as soon as they start.
How do you find the right caregiver for us?
We make sure that the caregivers we hire are all qualified and ready to serve you. They go through a rigorous hiring process so that we can determine which individual embodies our values and is the best fit to serve under our name.
What can we expect from you as a home care provider?
As your home care provider:
- In view of a customized home care plan, we draw from our experience and expertise to deliver a level of service that adapts to your health and living situation.
- You will have someone you can trust to provide you with the best care imaginable.
- We help you feel comfortable and at peace in your home.
- Our hiring policies ensure that you will be matched with a highly qualified caregiver to provide you with home care services.
Do you provide homecare assistance for someone who lives in an assisted living facility?
Yes, we do. We first arrange a meeting with the family to perform a comprehensive assessment and develop a plan of care. This is not only to fully understand what activities you would like to have completed for your loved one, but also to get a sense of what kind of personality might best go well with him or her. After this is completed, we will match the person with a caregiver. If at any time you would like to change your caregiver, this can easily be arranged.
How soon can service start?
We respond in less than 24 hours of notice.
Can caregivers help with medication?
When provided with a schedule, our caregivers can remind their clients to take their medication, but they cannot manage the medication.
